open the game folder. -> c:\users\[userid]\desktop\battlefield 3\
- right click on the setup.bin and select “run as administrator.” -> note: run as administrator options is in the security tab. before you run the game, you will need to check the box “include exe’s and dll’s” and “perform the following actions as administrator”. you can later uncheck this option.
- click yes when you are prompted to install ea.exe and ea_d3d12_win.dll.
- repeat the procedure for all.bin file with no need to change anything else.
- when prompted to reboot, select your desktop. you need to select desktop again if it is not your desktop.
- after it is rebooted, it should be ready to play.

for me however, my focus is now more on the potential for success in this map. at one point i did the core listing to try and find what i could do on this map. i was quite impressed with the list. my greatest issue with this map, at this stage, was the fact it was quite large. in comparison with the deutschland map i played previously, i can’t even imagine how large this map was. each side is at least thirty or more players, plus the central spawn. from the outside, the map seems fairly straight forward and it does have some ramps and all of the “houses”, but if you really wanted to play this game, unless you played it before, you would need to be prepared. for example, the battles often start in the very middle of the map. at the end of one of our battles, the other team began to crawl forward. we, fearing more tanks and other vehicles, just left and went back to the core. next game, they went out and we had almost a third of the map cleared at the time. with around two and half hours on this map, i also saw one minor area that could have been prevented.
the way you are going to get it is by going to one of the unlock links below and downloading the unlock tool. after you open the tool, you will select your usb flash drive or ssd and then select the saved games. your game folder is supposed to be in the “data” section. not in the “system” section.
when you re-open the game, it will ask you to make a new game. now go to that folder from the usb and press tab to create a new game. now you will see the game folder with the name of the game on the left hand side.
