Some people may encounter an orientation problem when starting Rue Ami on an iPad. Rue Ami is supposed to run only in Portrait mode on both the iPhone and the iPad. However, if Rue Ami is started on an iPad while it is in Landscape orientation, there may be misalignments of text, especially on the screens where you pick the address level by level. We’ll keep you up-to-date on the situation as we go along merrily debugging.

Good news! The fix to the problem described above has been submitted for review to Apple. It should take about a week or less for this new version (1.3) of Rue Ami to become available on the App Store. I’ll post a note when that happens.

If you’re experiencing orientation issues with your iPad, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem. First, ensure that the screen rotation lock is turned off; you can check this in the Control Center. Next, restart your iPad to refresh its settings. If the issue persists, make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version, as software bugs can sometimes affect orientation. Lastly, if none of these work, consider resetting all settings or contacting Apple Support for further assistance.
