It would be handy if they could be moved to dedicated hosts and just be accessed by devices instead of having to use the same machine at all times? Which world are you living in? Having to share the resources is a pain. Something needs to give, keeping all of the machines on 24/7 all the time is not the way to go. Down time is good and necessary.

All in all, the Photoshop review was fair and accurate and I did not see anything missteps. But surely if there were errors they would be pointed out. In fact, perhaps they are not errors but some missing features. For example, I do not see the ‘sets’ feature of Photoshop, when you want to go to properties of an image and all of them, such as Color, Distortion and other profiles can be easily set.

Just an FYI we dont have the smart previews display with the DNG’s open. According to Adobe’s own guidelines, “Smart previews are based on the DNG” but they barely exist in the latest version.
For that reason I do not understand how they can give a “recommendation”.
Yet another glaring omission as far as I am concerned. My issue is I do not want to split my data after an update.
So keeping the entire data intact is the only way to go for me.
