As Bungie’s FPS Destiny 2 continues in its latest and arguably biggest era to date with The Witch Queen expansion, so too are large parts of the game being reworked and balanced. Unfortunately, that also means unintended things breaking that require some immediate attention. One of the latest big issues in Destiny 2 was affecting the Piercing Sidearm artifact mod, but after the application of Hotfix 4.1.0.4, the mod has now been re-enabled and should be usable without issue again. Once installed, you will need to restart your BIG-IP Virtual Edition device to get the new artifact mod working. If you are having issues getting the mod to work with a specific device, use its particular hotfix utility to perform the fix. To find your specific device hotfix, refer to the readme.txt log file in the BIG-IP_VERSION/agiledash directory of your license folder.
Big IP V16.1 need to be updated to fix a VBS (Virtually Blocking Script) issue. The script is trying to download the latest firmware file(s) from the firmware_update_flash folder and this is causing problems with the Flash-ROM, ‘unable to update firmware at this time’ – error. The update is not critical but needed to be done before starting the upgrade process. Simply update the Big IP V16.1 as follows:
Fix:IGMP snooping in the BIG-IP 8.x.x.x IP version is now working where it wasn’t before. There are however some issues with the VE and VB modes regarding IGMP so special care needs to be taken on a “one-off” basis in order to get the correct results. More importantly, this change disables the “Group-based Responder” feature within the BIG-IP, so it is highly recommended to run the 8.x.x.x tests again to disclose any issues with this (Please refer to “fix:” above). Similarly with IMP, the IGMP features can be enabled through the IMP/IMP settings in the BIG-IP Manager GUI if required. IMP/IMP is immature at the moment due to SIP issues(also documented in the fix above), so I strongly advise against enabling this feature during development/QA testing.
